E8008U-INS complies with IEEE802.3ah and meets the relevant requirements for GEPON OUN equipment in YD/T 1475-2006 Access Network Technical Requirements - Ethernet based Passive Optical Network (EPON) and China Telecom EPON Equipment Technical Requirements CTC2.0/2.1. At the same time, follow the main communication standards of the power industry, such as Ethernet based Passive Optical Network (EPON) system, and the relevant specifications of industrial level requirements in the security industry. Adopting network standards with good openness, wide application, and transparent and unified TCP/IP protocol, it can be widely used in the security monitoring industry.

 

Main advantages

1. EPON passive optical transmission network. Fiber optic, as a transmission medium, is passive throughout the entire transmission process and operates reliably and stably. Realize single fiber bidirectional high bandwidth service carrying, with up to 1.25Gbps upstream and downstream. EPON network supports a bus type architecture with multi-level splitting, which conforms to the structure of distribution network transmission lines.

2. Provide QoS support for multiple services. Support QoS mechanisms based on ITU-T Y.1291, including technologies such as tag priority, queue scheduling, traffic supervision shaping, congestion suppression, and cache management. The system specifies different SLA parameters such as latency and jitter, guaranteed bandwidth, and maximum bandwidth for different users and businesses. The system supports DBA mechanism to allocate and speed limit the upstream bandwidth of each ONU.

4. Rich Ethernet functions. Effective isolation and protection mechanisms, VLAN isolation, port protection, MAC address binding, IP address binding, port speed limit, queue technology, flow control technology, etc. provide technical support for the development of multi service integration, enabling smooth upgrading and expansion.

5. A unified and comprehensive network management system. Targeting business, providing unified network transmission and interconnection protocols, address management, domain name management, security management, user access management, etc. Rich OAM functions, including configuration, alarm, performance monitoring, fault isolation, and security management, supporting both CLI and GUI management methods, easy to learn and use.  

6. For industrial grade design. Satisfy the wide temperature range of -40 ~85 , adapt to various harsh environments, resist strong lightning strikes and electromagnetic interference, and comply with GB/T17626 electromagnetic compatibility level 4 standards, CE safety requirements, etc.
